Sophie Firth (b.1977) is a multi media artist. She is currently a member of 23 Art Collective and participates in exhibitions with them, she also runs her own workshops with her studio partner for their company Indigo77. The collective and company were formed in late 2023 after studying an MA in Fine Art at Arts University Bournemouth with distinction, having started the path to develop her art with a Foundation in Art & Design.
As a florist too, her practice embodies the work of our hands, and is often structural and simple. Her work uses a variety of mediums and disciplines from print and textiles to sculpture, and with a previous background as a Brand manager always an element of colour and design.
She is interested in the stories that construct our identites.
